Are you passionate about chocolate and marketing?  At Thor's Chocolate, an artisan bean-to-bar chocolate company based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, we are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our small but dynamic team!

We are a start-up that has been in business for just over a year. We currently sell in farmer's markets and to several small local businesses. Help us get our marketing efforts off the ground and show your future employers the growth you helped us achieve.

We are currently communicating with several influencers and a talent agency for YouTube content creators. Help us build these relationships and increase our brand reach/awareness.

Start and End dates are variable, we are flexible in working with your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with upcoming holidays to showcase our unique chocolate products.
  • Assist in planning and launching a social media influencer program to expand our brand reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to create engaging content for social media, email, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Schedule: Saturdays (8-hour shifts)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join Thor’s Chocolate as a Part-Time Chocolate Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our artisan chocolate products to customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves chocolate and enjoys interacting with people. Most of these sales events are farmer's markets and craft fairs or specialty food shows where the customer will approach you. This job may require that you work holiday weekends on occasion.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to provide a warm and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of our chocolate products to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Restock products and bins as needed.
  • Lift and move bins weighing up to 40-50 pounds. Team members are available for help.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours during the shift.
  • Assist with setting up and taking down displays, tents and/or booths.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Be part of a team and bring a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Passion for chocolate and an eagerness to learn about our products.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is a plus but not required.
  • Available to work at least 3 Saturdays a month.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Wage: $15 (W2).
